Latest... and Farewell

On 11 January 2016 Kayla was put to sleep. She passed very peacefully, at home, content, and in our arms. She suffered from a brain lesion, probably a tumor or clot. We'll miss her more than words can say. Goodbye, our beautiful girl. Here's one of my favorite photos of her, snoozing away, all wrapped up and content.

  1. This is very sad indeed. I am so sorry for your loss. You can rest knowing you did everything possible to take care of her and show her that you loved her. Condolences.

I found your page looking for wheelchair blueprints for an aging, nearly immobile 15.5 year old black lab. I like to say she's 3 years past her warranty. My friends think the effort/resources invested in our dogs is crazy, but I just can't imagine treating them any other way.

I can tell you share that commitment.
